Personal statement The reason I chose this subject is because as a child I use to watch TV shows and movies and I would get really interested in how they were made and I would watch the behind the scenes and it would really amaze and inspired me. So, I thought I would pursue this at college and ever since I started the course I have been blown away by the fact that what I used to watch and dream of as a child is now a reality and it’s just became a passion and dream of mine to work in the film and TV industry. The thing that interests me the most about filming definitely has to be the pre-production process, the way a film or a tv show is made I find absolutely fascinating which leads on to my great interest of screenwriting which I personally believe is my strongest suite. I believe I have learnt a lot since joining and I can’t wait to broaden my knowledge of film and media I just can’t get enough of it and I just wish to expanded upon it as much as I can.
