Introduction to professional practice in creative media production 2.1 I have considered both the role of director and cinematographer. I have ultimately made a decision and ended up choosing the role of director due to the fact that the director has a very interesting and fascinating job which also happens to be among one if not the most important jobs in producing a film. The main role of the director is to be responsible for visualization the script and turning it into a film once it has been funded by a commission. They then get to decide with the producers on the different role heads for the production. A few examples of these would be an director of photography whose job it is to work with the director to make the production look the way it’s supposed to or an assistant director whose main responsibility is to assist the director through the pre-production phase onwards. My role My role in all three of the comedy sketch's I made was Director and Script writer. The assignment was to create two videos of me doing a job around the house and then edit them whether that be on editing software or TikTok, so i decided to video myself making a cup of tea whilst filming myself on TikTok because I found that TikTok is likely to be a lot quicker and affective due to the fact you can add different music and also the app has built in editing feature which made things quicker and easier.  This is one of the videos I made for the assignment.

The reason I chose to do this for the copycat task is due to the fact that the task asked me to recreate a dialogue scene from a movie and The Godfather was the one film that instantly came to mind because not only is it a famous movie but because it has some of the most famous pieces of dialogue.   It also happens to be one of the most interesting scenes in the movie due to the fact it shows how powerful one man can be if he can order things like murder without having to move out of his chair. That power really is kind of scary. However that's what the movie is basically about - how someone so powerful can lose it all so easily through a few mistakes.
